What’s new at Dorney Park in 2024

This season Dorney Park has a brand-new roller coaster and this is one you’ll want to experience. The largest investment in the park’s history and the Northeast’s first ever dive roller coaster, Iron Menace will take you 160 feet up for a 152 foot 95 degree drop, before you flip and swoop through four incredible inversions.
The coaster is themed around the mysterious fictitious legend of Hiram S. McTavish a steel baron from the early 19th century who drove workers excessively in an attempt to outproduce the nearby Bethlehem Steel. The ride is supposed to simulate the effect of a blast furnace, dropping you into an eye-popping dive element on the ground 160 feet below. The coaster’s station is also dynamically themed and incorporates remnants from area steel mills provided by the National Museum of Industrial History out of Bethlehem.
Around the dive machine, the park has designed a new themed area called the Steel Yard. The Steel Yard utilizes signature pieces from the National Museum of Industrial History and features a new gift shop, restaurant and bar. It also showcases the hit Halloween Haunt attraction Ghost in the Machine which was opened to guests in 2023 and the newly rethemed MT Buckets formerly known as the Cedar Creek Flyers.
The new restaurant, Iron Mill Grill and Bar features chicken and pulled pork sandwiches, delicious flatbreads, pierogies, pretzel bits, or deep fried TastyKake Krimpets.
The new gift shop, Steel Yard Gifts wows with exclusive Iron Menace and Dorney Park merchandise. Whether you’re looking for the perfect shirt for your next visit, posters for your office or bedroom, keychains, hats, or a snack, we’ve got it at Steel Yard Gifts.
Dorney Park also has several upgraded or new food and beverage experiences, including Midway Bar, White Water Tavern, and a new Coca Cola refresh station. All of these feature refreshing Coca Cola products, new menu items, or the Iron Menace lager produced by the local FUNK Brewing.
This season we will also rollout some exciting events!
