Dorney Park's General Manager and Vice President, Jessica Naderman, unveiled exciting details about the highly anticipated "Steel Yard" themed area in a video message posted on various social media platforms on February 10, 2024.

During her appearance on the "Menacing Minute," a series highlighting the construction progress of the new Iron Menace roller coaster, Naderman shared information about the new additions, including a revamped restaurant and bar, a merchandise shop, and an enhanced family ride experience.

Iron Mill Grill & Bar

The former Dorney Grille facility will undergo a transformation to match the area's new theming and provide an elevated dining experience.

Naderman revealed that the newly named Iron Mill Grill & Bar will offer a delectable menu featuring mouthwatering chicken sandwiches, pierogis, flatbreads, pulled pork sandwiches, and more. Additionally, the bar will serve a selection of craft beers for guests aged 21 and over.

The restaurant and bar will also feature a new seating patio, replacing the previous Monster ride pad, providing guests with comfortable seating and shade.

Steel Yard Gifts

Adjacent to the Possessed roller coaster, guests will find Steel Yard Gifts, a new shop offering a wide range of Iron Menace and Dorney Park merchandise.

Naderman emphasized that the shop will embrace the Steel Yard theme while providing unique gifts and souvenirs for guests and their families to enjoy.

MT Buckets

Furthermore, the beloved Cedar Creek Flyers ride will be transformed into MT Buckets, incorporating the Steel Yard theme.

Naderman assured families and children that they will continue to experience the exhilaration of spinning high in the sky, while enjoying the breathtaking views created by the construction of Iron Menace.

Naderman also hinted at additional buildings adopting the Steel Yard theming, and added that the park's entertainment team is diligently working on "theming out" the newest Halloween attraction, Ghost in the Machine’s exterior.

Dorney Park is scheduled to open its gates on May 10, 2024.

Guests looking to make multiple visits throughout the season can now purchase a Silver Pass.
