Runaway River

A day in Wildwater Kingdom is jam packed with amazing and soaking fun – but sometimes you just have to lay back and relax. Slowly drift down this lazy river and let your cares float away… Wait. What’s that? Is that a waterfall?! Soon enough, your colorful inner-tube will be taking you away on a runaway adventure through 1600 feet of swirling whirlpools, waterfalls, a mist-filled cave, and fountains. So much for relaxation! When this attraction opened in 1987, it was the largest innertube ride in the country and the largest river ride of its type in the world. This lazy river adventure is a whole lot of fun for everyone of all generations. Be sure to look for the entrance to Runaway River near the Tidal Wave Café and Jumpin’ Jack Splash. This Runaway River is sure to be a blast for everyone in the family to cool off and chill out… at least for a little while.
