Guest Code of Conduct
 

To ensure the SAFETY and ENJOYMENT of every guest Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom requires that all regulations, policies and directions must be obeyed at all times. It is the responsibility of every guest to ensure that they are informed, aware of, and in compliance with of all Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom policies, rules, and regulations. This full text is publicly available prior to and during your visit in our annually updated Fun Guide/Map, Rider Safety Guide, and online at http://www.dorneypark.com and from your internet enabled mobile devices at http://mobile.dorneypark.com.

In general guests must behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to safety risks, have negative impact on another guest’s family-fun experience, or disrupt the peace and tranquility of the Park. Failure to comply may be cause for dismissal from the Park WITH NO REFUND GIVEN!

Park Policies

Guests are required to conceal any lewd, offensive, or vulgar, clothing as this attire is prohibited.
  • DP: Shirts, shoes, and shorts are required upon entry and exit and at all times except when actively riding Thunder Canyon or White Water Landing. Bikini tops are acceptable, bikini bottoms must be covered. Shorts/pants must be worn so as to show no more than the waistband of ones undergarments.
  • WWK: Proper swimming attire is required and is defined as a properly fitting and covering, one- or two-piece swimsuit or shorts that stop above the knee. Swimwear must be without abrasive buttons, rivets, zippers or snaps. Thong suits are prohibited. Diaper covers are required for all diapered children and are available at Trade Winds Gift Shop.
General conduct must be safe and in keeping with the desired family fun environment. Running, visible intoxication, physical or verbal assault, destruction of park property and inappropriate language or gestures are prohibited.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere on Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom Property with the exception of the several designated smoking areas which can be located on the park map.
  • NO LINE JUMPING! Line Jumping is defined as cutting in front of other guests or attempting same point re-entry after having left the line for any reason including using a restroom or retrieving food or drink. Make all stops prior to entering a line queue. Any guest, who line jumps, may be ejected from the Park with NO REFUND GIVEN!
  • Image and Video Capture for the intent of public audience use/distribution must be authorized and escorted by a Dorney Park Public Relations Representative. Equipment use is acceptable only when it is safe and unobtrusive to other guests. Amount & size of equipment should be minimized; tripods are strongly discouraged. Use of capture devices is strictly prohibited on rides and in restrooms.
Any item which causes safety concern or disruption of other guests including but not limited to laser pointers/pens, audio amplifiers, diving masks, snorkels, unauthorized advertisements or solicitations, and recreational wheels such as skates, roller blades, skateboards, and heelies.
  • Coolers and Outside food and beverage items other than factory sealed bottles of water are prohibited.
  • Alcoholic beverages of any type may not be brought onto Park property. Alcoholic beverages are available at several isolated locations, and must always be consumed or discarded on premise where served. Only those persons with valid State issued photo ID or driver’s license and are over the age of 21 years are permitted to purchase, possess or consume alcoholic beverages while on Dorney Park Property. One valid photo ID must be presented per person, per beverage being purchased. That Photo identification must remain readily available to be presented upon request. Failure to comply with park personnel, various wrist banding policies, or any park rules is cause for dismissal from the park with no refund given.
  • Firearms and/or weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited.
  • Possession or use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
  • Pets other than guide dogs/service animals are prohibited.

Refrain from using profanity or any other potentially offensive language.

Line Jumping is NOT Allowed
  • To ensure that all guests have a fair opportunity to enjoy a ride, line jumping is not allowed at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. Any Guest who line jumps, regardless of the reason, may be asked to leave the Park with NO REFUND GIVEN.
  • Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom defines line jumping as:
  • Cutting in front of guest already waiting in line
  • leaving a line for any reason, then attempting to reenter at the same point.
  • Since this includes using the rest room or purchasing food or drink, we suggest you make all stops before you enter the line.
To report a policy violation, inform any employee. Those employees who are carrying radios or who are near phones can be most effective at escalating your report quickly. Alternatively, you may provide a tip, or request Dorney Park Patrol response for any non-emergency by sending a SMS text message to 74674 starting with the keyword DPP followed by your location and a brief report. Messages are prioritized and responded to appropriately. We may text or call you for additional information. Carrier message and data rates may apply. Please direct any emergency needs immediatly to the nearest Park employee.
