Join us as we celebrate Dorney Park’s oldest roller coaster, the iconic Thunderhawk.
Constructed in 1923 and 1924, this year marks 100 years since the wooden classic opened to the public.
Originally, the then named ‘Coaster’ was built as an out-and-back roller coaster featuring little more than a drop and return. Over the years it has been renamed and reconfigured into the ride guests can enjoy today.
The day will include music, specialty themed food items, NanoCoaster building contest, pop-up history museum, photo ops and more, plus an Anniversary Ceremony to celebrate Thunderhawk's 100th Anniversary.
