Dorney Park Partners With A Kid Again Mid-Atlantic For Cost-Free Adventure

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom played host to more than nine hundred A Kid Again children, siblings, parents, and caregivers on Saturday, June 24, 2023.
The annual Adventure filled with rides, slides, and character meet-and-greets was special in a way that is hard to describe.
For the staff at Dorney the free meal, tickets, parking, and drinks that were provided were nothing compared to the smiles, conversations, and life-long memories that were shared amongst volunteers, team members, and guests.
At the gate the energy and love were contagious as scores of volunteers greeted children and families under Dorney Park tents with tables full of A Kid Again gifts and merchandise.
From there, a meal full of some Dorney classics delighted while Peanuts characters dished out hugs, high fives, and love.
For A Kid Again and those that rely on them, moments of carefree fun are extra-special given the life-threatening conditions that the children who rely on their services face.
The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of A Kid Again currently serves nearly 600 families throughout region.
