Makeva Brodie is one of Cedar Fair's 2023 Soul Award Winners

Makeva Brodie is Dorney's Human Resource Manager and one of Cedar Fair's 2023 Soul Award Winners!

Makeva has been with Dorney Park for over a decade and she loves the people that she gets to work with. 

 "I've been here for ten years and I know so many faces and stories," said Brodie. "I think it's fun to see people who started here as 14 to 15 years work their way through and grow up here and become successful in the next phase of life."

"I came here because of my brother who was in the rides department and I just wanted to have a fun job like he did," said Brodie. "I love the fact that their are pathways to greater success at this park and at this company."

Brodie is truly loved here at Dorney and is a constant source of guidance and smiles for our associates.

"Find what you bring to the table and pull up a chair is my favorite quote," said Brodie. "Making time and understanding that your thoughts are valuable and as a company making time for folks to share those thoughts and to work toward understanding and valuing that process is important and I enjoy that."
