What to know about Dorney Park's Season Passholder Preview

If you are making plans to visit Dorney Park during our Season Passholder Preview on May 7th before our gates open to the public on May 12th this article is for you.

Our public relations team spent a few days tracking down park leaders, getting answers to all your important questions about the unique event.

Q: When is the Dorney Park Season Passholder Preview and what are the hours?

A: Our Dorney Park Season Passholder Preview is on Sunday, May 7th from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Q: Will Wildwater Kingdom be open?

A: No. Wildwater Kingdom will not open until May 27th. However, there will be a Season Passholder Preview on Sunday, May 21st from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Q: Can I come if I’m not a season passholder?

A: The event is a benefit that is only extended to passholders. But you can come to the park on May 7th to purchase one.

Q: Can I use a Bring-A-Friend Ticket for the event?

A: The event is a benefit for season passholders only. Anybody who wants to join in on the event can purchase one prior to or on the day of the event.

Q: What is open?

A: You can expect a similar experience to what our guests have grown accustomed to during our typical operating season. That means your favorite thrills, eats, and family fun will all be a part of the experience.

Q: Will there be food?

A: ABSOLUTELY. Be sure to stop by Coasters to see what’s new for 2023 and check-out the changes we made at Chickie’s & Pete’s.

Q: Can I purchase a dining plan?

A: Yes. You can set yourself up for a successful season by purchasing the All Season Dining plan.

Q: Can I use my discounts?

A: Yes. Your 10% Food and Merchandise discounts are ready for you to use once you purchase your season pass!

Q: Am I able to get into the event with a Cedar Fair Platinum Pass?

A: Yes. No matter your home park. You are welcome at our preview event!

Q: What time does the parking lot open?

A: Typically, our main guest parking lot is open one hour before our gates.

Q: Can I bring a child with a Pre-K Pass?

A: Yes! Your child’s Pre-K Pass IS their Season Pass. They’re more than welcome to attend!

Remember that our Opening Day is May 12th so if you miss this event, don’t sweat it! There will be plenty of exclusive events and offerings for passholders throughout our 2023 season.
