A career in the resort and attraction industry can be very exciting. We often hear, “How do I get into the business? What training do I need?”
In the past, learning programs that tackled the thrilling maze of our business didn’t exist. But those days are officially over, now that we’ve partnered with Bowling Green State University for the Resort and Attraction Management (RAAM) Program!
The connection of Dorney Park to BGSU means you have the opportunity to study what makes our business run, all while using Dorney Park as a real-life laboratory. At the end of your studies, you’ll receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Resort and Attraction Management with exposure to most areas of the industry, plus customized experiences and training.
Whether you’re interested in amusement & theme parks, tourism, sports & recreation, resorts and hotels, meeting & event planning, restaurant & food service, finance, marketing or human resources, this program has you covered.
Each of these areas has its own unique learning opportunities, challenges and rewards. No other degree program can offer such exposure to our business, so you’ll really gain experience that will be attractive to potential employers once you’ve left the program.
Speaking of employers, Dorney Park and our parent company, Cedar Fair, are always looking for future leaders. And because you’ll utilize the park as your lab for many of your studies, you’ll already have a foot in the door!
