Dorney Park has been creating FUN for the Lehigh Valley area since 1884. Even before then, the area was hustling and bustling with farm land. In all that time there have been so many people who have passed through the park. With 138 seasons of park operation, and even more time before that, it’s no wonder there would be spirits around the park.
There is always so much energy going through this amusement park, even in the dead of night when it is closed. The land that the park sits on has seen activity for over 150 years. We’ve heard stories from associates, past and present, about paranormal sightings around the park. Stories about hearing things like laughter, and seeing things like orbs caught on camera. I’m sure you’re thinking that laughter is normal at an amusement park, but these counts of laughter happen late at night when the park is "empty"... or is it? It’s almost like you’re never actually alone at Dorney Park.
We wanted to get to the bottom of all these occurrences, so we called in Justin Torok with Ghost Encounters. Justin has been a paranormal investigator for over 10 years, investigating paranormal activity around the greater Lehigh Valley Area. We needed to bring in an expert to check out all the strange activity, and he was just the person to do it.
