Thank you. We simply couldn’t have done it without you!

We would like to take a moment to express our tremendous gratitude to everyone who helped make the Online Food Drive benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley and Northeastern Pennsylvania a great success.

With the help of our entire community, we were able to raise and amazing $43,060 for Second Harvest.

For every $1 that was donated, Second Harvest will be able to distribute 6 meals.

So let’s do the math… $43,060 dollars x 6 meals per dollar = 258,360 meals!

That’s over a quarter-of-a-million meals! Second Harvest assures food distribution in a six-county area that includes Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, Pike and Wayne counties. Collectively, their network serves 60,000 each month and more than half of those served are children and seniors. This number is growing vastly through the duration of the pandemic, as many people are out of work.

We’d like to extend special thanks to:

  • Everyone who so generously donated;
  • Anyone graciously shared the fundraiser; and
  • Our amazing partner, and friends at, WFMZ!

Looking for ways to help?

Second Harvest is dealing with an increased demand along with rising food prices due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The absolutely best way to support Second Harvest right now is to make a monetary donation.

At the moment, Second Harvest has suspended its volunteer program to maintain a controlled atmosphere. They are following guidelines from Feeding America, and the Department of Health.

If you are interested in volunteering in the future at Second Harvest, contact Lizette Soto at lsoto@caclv.org.

Remember to keep Second Harvest in mind throughout the entire year – as their need for community support is ongoing.

When the time comes for us to safely open, we’ll see you on the midways!
