Here’s some inspiration to capture the perfect shot at the park this summer – whether it be a trendy selfie or a candid with your BFFs. We’ll share with you the five best locations at the park for the perfect Instagram post, and leave the editing up to you!

5. The Antique Carousel

Horseback riding seem impossible? Here’s a solution: have a friend snap a pick of you on this American classic during your next visit to the park. With a picture on this ride and perhaps a giant lollipop or fluffy cotton candy in hand, you can appeal to all your followers’ childhood nostalgia. Plus, the intricate artwork, carvings, and designs will be the perfect backdrop for a vintage-themed post.

4. Wonderful Walls of Wildwater Kingdom

If you’re someone who loves bright, vibrant colors, then the walls of Wildwater Kingdom are the perfect backdrop for you. Nearly every wall, whether located by the changing rooms and restrooms or the exit of Speed Slide, is perfectly painted and paired with fresh flowers. In Wildwater Kingdom, you’re sure to find a space that is perfect for your taste! The wall pictured above can be found near the restrooms by the Wave Pool, and its unique pattern is sure to catch the attention of your followers.

3.  Thunder Canyon Area

Don’t worry - you don’t have to get soaked or climb mountains to take advantage of this adventurous-looking scenery. Walk right on up to the fence surrounding the ride and be sure to capture the churning water, smooth boulders, and rough landscape in the background of your photo. Perhaps with just a bit of cropping the picture, it’ll look like you took a spontaneous trip to the Grand Canyon.

2. Coaster Drive-In

From two 50s-era Cadillacs parked out front to the neon lights shining through the window, Coasters Drive-In at Dorney Park is the perfect place to channel what you may consider the golden age of the United States. Whether you step inside and enjoy a classic, delicious malt or hang outside by the vintage cars, you’ll be able to add the timeless taste of 1950s culture to your Instagram feed with items that defined the era as your background. (Oh, and try our XTREME Milkshake while you’re here. Not only is the super-chocolatey shake delicious, but its chocolate-overload appearance is an addition to your photo that is sure to get people talking.)

1. Top of the Ferris Wheel (at sunset, of course)

Take a ride in a suspended gondola at sunset and witness a breath-taking view of the park. The Ferris Wheel may be considered a traditional ride, but with your own spin (no pun intended), you can turn this amusement park classic into a contemporary, sought-after experience.
