First and foremost, Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom is all about FUN! Here you'll find helpful information about navigating and enjoying the park and all of its experiences for those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). If you would like more information, simply stop by our Guest Services Office located at the Main entrance plaza and grab a copy of our Guest Assistance Guide.

Boarding Pass Program

Currently at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom we offer a Boarding Pass Program for individuals who may be overwhelmed by standing in crowded lines. Guests who are in possession of a Boarding Pass can obtain a boarding or “ride” time on the Boarding Pass that is equal to the anticipated wait time for a particular ride from the ride associate at the Alternate Access Entrance (usually a ride’s exit). Guests can then choose to rest comfortably away from the queue area, visit a shop, see a show, or play a game until their boarding time. Please visit Guest Services during you next visit and ask about our Boarding Pass Program.

Sensory & Quiet Room

In addition, we offer a Sensory & Quiet Room located in the Family Care Center inside of Planet Snoopy. This dedicated space provides tools for family members or care-givers to intensify or reduce sensory stimulation in a controlled environment.

Sensory Packs

Dorney Park also offers free Sensory Packs, which are available to sign-out daily from Guest Services and the Family Care Center. Dorney Park’s Sensory Packs include items that will reduce stress or sensory triggers such as noise reducing ear-muffs, shoulder weights, fidget toys and more.

More #AMAZING Tips:

  • Click here to download our Emergency Information Sheet. Print and complete the sheet to prepare for your visit.
  • We also recommend that as an added safety measure you take a photo of members of your party, (especially if you have a member in your party who tends to wander off) on your mobile device. This photo can be great assistance to quickly reunite your party if separated.
  • We offer disposable ear protection you may pick up at Guest Services.
  • If you have any doubts what-so-ever about an attraction’s appropriateness for the individual with ASD, we suggest you have someone in your party ride first to make an informed determination.

To further celebrate Autism Awareness week here at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom we have a special sensory friendly shows including Space Beagle, Franklin’s Dance Party, and Sally's Sing-along in Planet Snoopy, the Tidal Waves in Wildwater Marketplace, Krank Up the Kingdom in Wildwater Cove and Hot Rhythm Nights at Center Stage.

Click here to view our Autism Awareness Week Flyer detailing the entire week!

We will have coin boxes around the park for guests to donate to the Autism Society of America in addition to a $2 donation from each ticket redeemed (through the link below) to local Autism Society Affiliates (including Greater Philadelphia ASA PHILLY)!

Purchase your tickets through the following link, and select Dorney Park: https://pages.cedarfair.com/autism
