Parent Swap is a service available for those who have small children but no provision for childcare while participating in height-restricted rides at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. One person may wait with the child on the midway near the exit, or in the designated area on the exit side of the platform or station, while the other guests in the party enter the line. When the rest of the party has exited the ride, the person who waited with the child may enter the ride through the exit and ride. Talk to the ride host/hostess for assistance. You may receive a Parent Swap Pass to be used at a particular ride, though all rides do not use a Parent Swap Pass.
Dorney Park's Ride Admission Policy has been developed based on the recommendations of the manufacturer, our past experience and our evaluation of each ride using our knowledge of the ride in both normal and emergency operating conditions. Our prime consideration is the ability of each person to endure the dynamics of a ride without risk of injury to that person or other riders. Any guest who feels he or she may be affected by this policy is encouraged to visit Ride Services to obtain a list of the rides he or she can safely ride. Your Ride Admission Policy list will provide information for our ride operators to help accommodate you.
Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom remain open as scheduled, rain or shine. Some attractions will temporarily close and clear any rides, attractions or areas of the park as needed to keep our guests safe during inclement weather. Wildwater Kingdom water park will close all water activities and Dorney Park amusement park will close certain rides and attractions when lightning or thunder is in the vicinity. In the event of weather related ride downtime the Park will reopen all affected rides, attractions, and areas as soon as safely possible.

During these times we recommend guests visit our less affected under cover rides, or enjoy the Park’s shops, arcades, games, and dining locations. Alternatively guests may get their hands stamped at the exit gate, and re-enter the turnstiles as many times as they like later that same day when conditions are better. Parking stubs are valid for one re-entry to the parking lot.

Rain checks and refunds are not available. Once a ticket is scanned at the turnstiles, it is used and no longer holds any value. Dorney Park does not monitor any guest’s level of participation or length of stay. Rain checks and refunds are not available to guests who choose to leave.
Entrances are wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs at the admission gates and aisles in most restaurants, shops and food stands are designed for easy movement of a wheelchair. Most shows and attractions are accessible. Information for accessibility of specific rides and attractions is available at Dorney Park Ride Services Office.

For boarding rides, those guests with restricted mobility and one riding companion may enter via the special access entrance at an assigned boarding time comparable to actual wait times. This enables other members of your party to wait in line. Special access entrances are intended to accommodate guests who require the use of wheelchairs.

On most rides, guests will have to transfer from their wheelchair to the ride unit. Park employees are not permitted to assist with transfer into the ride compartment. See Rider Safety Sign at ride entrance for special access entrance.

Segway human transporters are not permitted at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom.
