Seasonal Positions

The Finance Team maintains the financial operations of the park. This includes reporting daily operating results, processing all of the park’s revenues, distributing other division’s cash tills, and coordinating the park’s internal control efforts. Finance also oversees Information Systems, which maintains most of the technology utilized by the park and Payroll.

Any Position In Accounting: Accounting positions include, Cash Control Teller, Cash Control, Accounting Intern, Revenue Accounting Intern and Information Systems. (Minimum Age: 18)

Cash Control Teller: Distributing money bags to park cashiers, receiving returned revenues, issuing change to supervisors and group leads for park cashiers in their stand or store. (Minimum Age: 18)

Cash Control Teller- 3rd Shift: Organizing the cashier bags for processing and fill starting change funds for the next day business. (Minimum Age: 18)

Information Systems: Assists in installing and maintaining various computer systems. Inputs data, process user requests. Troubleshoot, install, support and upgrade computer software / hardware including network infrastructure. (Minimum Age: 17)
Qualifications: A+ Certification required or equivalent experience. Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of personal computers in a windows environment. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of PC software and willing to lean new software packages and procedures.

Revenue Accounting Intern: Revenue Accounting Interns are responsible for compiling attendance, sales, and revenue figures to create an accurate and timely report for distribution to Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom and Cedar Fair management. Internal Auditor:
 Summer Interns are needed to fill highly visible audit staff positions. You can acquire a great deal of audit, accounting and business experience in these positions, while working in a fun and professional environment. The smiling faces of The Admissions Team are the first impression our guests have when they enter the park and also the last one they have when they leave. Our goal is to make each day the best day of the year for our guests. If you have a positive attitude and like meeting new people, this is the perfect department for you!

Ticket Taker / Season Pass Host: Meets and greets guests; processes and verifies tickets for admission and season passes for guests entering the park. Enforces park policy and works with co-workers to keep wait times to a minimum. (Minimum Age: 14)

Park Ambassador: Meets and greets guests; seeks out guest interaction by implementing our "Best Day" initiatives. Resolves guest concerns in a courteous and enthusiastic manner. Cross trains and assists in other areas of the Admissions department as needed. (Minimum Age: 16)
Qualifications: Basic math skills. Must have an outgoing personality and be willing to take the initiative to proactively meet and converse with guests.

Gate Cashier: Meets and greets guests; sells, processes, and verifies tickets for admission and extra charge experiences at the park. Enforces park ticketing and discounting policies and upsells products and services to our guests.(Minimum Age: 16)
Qualifications: Basic math skills, ability to interact and converse with our guests in a courteous manner.

Parking Cashier: Meets and greets guests; sells, processes, and verifies parking tickets for guests entering the park and at the toll plaza. Works with co-workers to keep wait times to a minimum. (Minimum Age: 16)

Guest Services Representative: Meets and greets guests; works with supervision to solve common and complex guest concerns in a courteous and enthusiastic manner. Sells, processes, and verifies tickets for admission and extra charge experiences, and season passes for guests entering the park. (Minimum Age: 18)
Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic math skills, ability to interact and converse with our guests in a courteous manner. Previous experience working in a service related industry are a plus.

Admissions Auditing Supervisor: Oversees the documentation and processing of all revenues within the Admissions Department. Works with the Accounting department to resolve discrepancies and notifies management of findings. Cross trains and assists in other areas of the Admissions department as needed. (Minimum Age: 18)
Qualifications: Basic math and accounting skills, previous leadership experience and ability to interact and converse with our guests and employees in a courteous manner.

Admissions Supervisor: Oversees daily operation of the admissions department by supervising employees and managing the guest experience throughout the day. Takes ownership of resolving guest concerns and communicates with park management on a regular basis. Completes supervisory duties such as payroll, counseling notices, recognition awards, and training.(Minimum Age: 18)

Entry Level Foods Position: Employee will be required to use a cash register and follow all cash handling policies and procedures, maintain clean work environment, and follow all food safety and sanitation policies and procedures. (Minimum Age: 14)

Food Associate: Employee will be required to use a cash register and follow all cash handling policies, maintain clean work environment, and follow all food safety and sanitation policies and procedures. May be required to cook food items based on our specifications. (Minimum Age: 16) 
Qualifications: Prior food service experience preferred, but not required.

Food / Beverage Server:This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service in our sit down restaurant. They are in charge of learning the menu items, portions, accompaniments and prices. Must follow all proper procedures for sales and service, as well as state laws governing the sale and proper service of alcoholic beverages. Must keep a clean work environment and be a team player in the dining room. (Minimum Age: 18)
Qualifications: Prior food service experience preferred, but not required.

Cook: Must learn all menu items, portions, and accompaniments to our specifications. Will be using major kitchen equipment including, but not limited to, fryer, grill and oven. . Must communicate effectively with management, supervisors and wait staff. (Minimum Age: 18)

Beer/Bartender: Must observe and follow all state laws governing the sale and serving of alcoholic beverages. Will be responsible for ringing up sales on the cash register, and well as following all cash handling policies and procedures. Must keep a clean work environment and assist the team as needed in the restaurant. (Minimum Age: 18)
Qualifications: RAMP certification preferred, but not required.

Food Supervisor: Supervisors are responsible for the daily operations for our food service locations. This includes scheduling, inventory, and ordering. They are responsible for maintaining our high level of food quality and sanitation standards. Supervisors are in charge of all staff in that food service location. This includes team building, motivation, and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed with cash handling. (Minimum Age: 16). 
Games Associate: Promotes games and assists guests in the operation of various games. Ensures that every guest has a positive guest experience with courtesy and serve guests in a timely and efficient manner. Maintains a clean and organized game stand on a daily basis. Attracts guests to games by using voice, public address systems, and attractive prize displays. (Minimum Age: 16)

Locker Attendant: Sells All Day Locker Rental keys to guests. Assists with guest inquires and enforce line control in efforts to maximize guest service and speed of service. Ability to operate a cash register.(Minimum Age: 16)

Games Supervisor: Performs basic supervisory functions for assigned game locations. Ensures that all games and clean, stocked, and neatly displayed. Assists Supervisors with maintaining proper staff levels and makes necessary adjustments. Trains Game Operators in areas of game operation and great guest service. (Minimum Age: 18)

Any Boo Blast Position: Interacts in a fun friendly way to entertain guests by portraying a defined character as developed by management. Ensures that the company Cornerstones and Best Day initiatives are followed. (Minimum Age: 16)

HAUNT/Boo Blast Talent Captain / Talent Coach: This position supervies and trains Halloween Haunt employees including Haunt/Boo Blast monsters, black out attendants, costumers, make-up artists and street talent. Ensures that the company Cornerstones and Best Day initiatives are followed. (Minimum Age: 18)

Make-Up Artist: Applies make-up and effects to performers,and assists performers with mask application/removal and related issues. May also perform as street talent when directed by management. Ensures that the company Cornerstones and Best Day initiatives are followed. (Minimum Age: 18)

HAUNT / Boo Blast Light/Sound Technician: Maintain the integrity of Haunt shows and attractions by trouble shooting and doing daily up keep of props, lighting, sound and fog. Ensures that the company Cornerstones and Best Day initiatives are followed. (Minimum Age: 18)

HAUNT Costumer: Maintains all show and atmosphere costumes, assists performers with dressing and costume problems. May assist in laundering and proper storage of costumes. Ensures that the company Cornerstones and Best Day initiatives are followed. (Minimum Age: 17)
The Human Resources Office is in charge of all hiring, training and employee processing functions within Dorney Park.

Employee Trainer: Coordinates and conducts training programs for the park, which includes teaching a formal company orientation for associates. Classes size may be anywhere from 20 - 300.(Minimum Age: 18)
Qualifications: Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Powerpoint. Ability to pass a math assessment. Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provoncial law. Costumed Character: Interacts with guests as a costume character in a childs themed area within the park. Ensures that the company Cornerstones and Best Day initiatives are followed. (Minimum Age: 16)
Qualifications: Must be 5'2" or shorter

Performer (Planet Snoopy): Entertains the guests by performing a lead role in a specific child oriented themed are with costume characters. Ensures that the company Cornerstones and Best Day initiatives are followed. (Minimum Age: 16)
Qualifications: Ability to sing and demonstrate knowledge of music. Ability to demonstrate basic acting ability and stage presence.

Stage Manager: Acts as a liaison between cast, crew and Management. Responsible for daily operation of the Good Time Theatre and show within including cleaning house, costumes, sound and lighting effects. Reports any and all equipment needs and repairs. Ensures that the company Cornerstones and Best Day initiatives are followed. (Minimum Age: 18)
Qualifications: Must have a working knowledge of Mac OS A general knowledge of sound and lighting is preferred. Must have strong leadership skills Must be organized, self motivated and able to perform well under pressure.

Backstage Crew: Establish the integrity of live shows through lighting, sound and set piece maintenance. Ensures that the company Cornerstones and Best Day initiatives are followed. (Minimum Age: 18)

Show Wardrobe Dresser: Maintains all show and atmosphere costumes, assists performers with dressing and costume problems. May be required to performt he duties of an usher or technician when needed. Ensures that the company Cornerstones and Best Day initiatives are followed. (Minimum Age: 16)

Entertainment Team Leader: This position supervises the Live Entertainment Department including costume characters, theatre staff, tour guides and Halloween Haunt tehnicians and all equipment used to entertain guests via shows. Entertainment Supervisor: This position supervises the Live Entertainment Department including costume characters, theatre staff, tour guides and Halloween Haunt tehnicians and all equipment used to entertain guests via shows. Any Position In Maintenance: Preform work as assigned by supervisor in a safe and timely manner. Ability to work different shifts as required. Qualifications: Drivers License and ability to demonstrate ability to preform job applying for.

Carpenter Assistant: Prior to opening day, the assistant will assist with the set up of the park and any construction needs to open the park. During the operating season, the Carpenter assistant will work with a carpenter performing daily inspections of wood structures. He/she will also assist with any duty relating to the carpentry department for the operation of Dorney Park. During the Haunt set up period, he/she will assist in constructing various Halloween props and displays. During the operation of Haunt he/she will assist in the inspection of Haunt props and displays. After the operating season, he/she will assist in the winterization of the park. (Minimum Age:18)

Ecology Attendant: Keep park and equipment clean at all times. May be required to operate equipment . Examples not limited to : pressure washers, water trucks, sweepers trucks, tractors, or any other equipment assigned by supervisor. Sweepers and trash removal a well as any other job involved in cleaning the park. Preform work as assigned by supervisor in a safe and timely manner. Ability to work different shifts as required. May be required to work long hours at different times of the season. Will be required to work outside in all environments. Need to follow all company policies.(Minimum Age:18)
Qualifications: Valid drivers license. Able to lift and walk during shift.

Electrical Assistant: Individual will perform basic electrical and mechanical skills. Individual must be able to work alone. Individual may be required to climb using both step and extension ladders. Individual may be required to use manlift or bucket truck. Individual must be flexible to work both weekends, weekdays, day or night shift. (Minimum Age:18)
Qualifications: Basic Electrical and Mechanical Theory, Valid Drivers License, Basic Hand Tools, Use able to use a multimeter.

HVAC Assistant: This position repairs and installations for the parks HVAC systems per the direction of the plumbing foreman.  (Minimum Age:18)

Landscape Laborer: Must like to work outdoors in all weather. Able to be ready to work at 6 am. Willing to learn various landscape equipment. (Minimum Age:18)

Mechanic: Maintain proper ride operations. Preform ride repairs and inspections and fill out all paper work as required. Preform various jobs as assigned by supervisor. Able to wear safety equipment. Will need to keep work areas clean. Will need to be reliable. Provide own hand tools other than specialty tools. Able to climb and work at heights up to 250 feet. Need to be able to work different shifts as needed. Will be required to have a valid drivers license. May be required to work long hours at different times of the year.(Minimum Age:18)
Qualifications: Ability to demonstrate mechanical experience and trouble shoot rides and equipment. May be required to obtain different certifications as needed to preform job. Full time employees will be required to obtain a PA ride inspector certification also.

Painter: Perform the duties of Painter entailing the preparation of various substrates and the application of coatoings to them. Assist in all phases of preparation including Cleaning by solvent wiping, hand washing and power-washing. Sanding by hand and with power tools.grinding,etc. Prepare and repair fiberglass ride units as needed. Assist in the application of architecual latex coatings, single and dual component industrial coatings, swimmimng pool paints, etc.(Minimum Age:18)
Qualifications: Some prior experience in the field is required. Will be able to work from step ladders and extension ladders. Will be able to work in all kinds of weather conditions. Fork lift experience is desirable. Must be able to work neatly and efficently with minimal supervision. Must have good oral and written communication skills. Must be in good general physical condition. This position will require the successful applicant to to spend extended periods of time on his/her feet. Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Plumber Assistant: This position is responsible for all plumbing repairs and food equipment up keep turn all water on to all building locations. And any other duties as asigned by the plumbing foreman.(Minimum Age:18)

Sign / Graphics: Help in maintaining and installing signs and graphics in the park. Assist in the design creation and execution of new signs, graphics and displays to be used in the park. Trim and assemble large format prints. Knowledge of Adobe CS and large format printing is helpful.(Minimum Age:18)

Waterpark Maintenance: maintain proper ride operations. Preform ride repairs and inspections and fill out all paper work as required. Preform various jobs as assigned by supervisor. Able to wear safety equipment. Will need to keep work areas clean. Will need to be reliable. Provide own hand tools other than specialty tools. Able to climb and work at heights up to 250 feet. Need to be able to work different shifts as needed. Will be required to have a valid drivers license. Need to be able to tell the difference in colors and shades of colors to preform water tests. Merchandise Associate: A merchandise associate is responsible for handling gusts' purchases of souvenirs. Associates must be willing to handle money and operate a cash register. Associates are also responsible for keeping the store stocked, pricing, displaying merchandise, as well as keeping the store clean.(Minimum Age: 16)

Roving Sales Associate: A merchandise roving associate is responsibility for promoting and selling our night time glow products, as well as a few during the day. You will have the opportunity to walk throughout the park and "play" with the merchandise as a way of selling the products. (Minimum Age: 16)

Airbrush Tattoo Artist: A merchandise airbrush tattoo artist is responsible for applying airbrushed tattoos for guests. Applicants do not need to have artistic ability, as the tattoos are applied by stencil. Tattoo artists are required to use salesmanship to up-sell additional colors and glitter. (Minimum Age: 16)

Photo Operations Associate: A photo operations associate is responsible for handling guests' purchases of souvenir roller coaster pictures. Associates will print out pictures to be used for picture frames, keychains, magnets, and other specialty items. Associates must be willing to use a microphone to promote sales. (Minimum Age: 16)
The Park Operations Team is responsible for the day to day operation of the rides and attractions at Dorney Park. Each position will include working heavily with the park Guests and help to give each person the Best Day experience on the rides.

Ride Attendant: This position operates an attraction or works with a small group of attractions at an assigned location. Responsible for proper operation of ride while informing Guests of and enforcing ride rules. Also, handle Guest situations and maintain the cleanliness of the ride, ride area, and entire park. Ride Operator: This position operates an attraction or a small group of attractions at an assigned location. Park Operations Clerk/Cashier: Position is responsible for consistently keeping seasonal files and park paperwork up to date as well as inputting employee information and ride information into computer databases. Employee must also be able to speak courteously and often on the phone to other employees and/or Guests and handle Guest situations and concerns at ride services. This position can also be used to help with attractions and park services as well as cashier work while adhering to the Cornerstones and Best Day initiatives laid forth by the company. (Minimum Age: 16)

Park Operations Supervisor: This position supervises a ride or small group of rides and employees in the Park Operations Department. Strong emphasis on training new associates, creating a safe and efficient work environment for employees and helping Guests enjoy their experience. Position runs day to day operations for ride group and ensures that the company Cornerstones and Best Day initiatives are followed. (Minimum Age: 18)
The Park Services Team is responsible for the day to day cleanliness of Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom. Each position will work heavily with cleaning the park as well as helping Guests by giving them the best day they can experience.

Any Position In Park Services: These positions work in cleaning areas throughout the park. They are responsible for cleanliness of all restrooms, midways, Guest areas, and back areas in the Park Services location. Jobs also require helping Guests with situations and giving them a great experience. Positions also uphold policies while ensuring the company Cornerstones and Best Day initiatives are followed. (Minimum Age: 16)

Park Services Attendant: This position works in a cleaning area within the Park Operations Department. Park Services Supervisor: This position helps supervise a Park Services cleaning area in the Park Operations Department.
