Dorney Park has a fall festival that is all FUN and no fear, The Great Pumpkin Fest! It is a celebration of all things fall, for kids and families. Before the ghouls and goblins of Haunt come out, just a sprinkle of spooky peaks around every corner.
This scare-free event takes place on select days, September 17 through October 30. The PEANUTS™ Gang host the fall festival of the year with several activities and shows. Take a look at the FUN you could have before you go, so that you can make the most of your time here.
Activities
- Charlie Brown’s Craft Corner – Younger visitors can stop in and make a craft to take home for the holiday. The house could always use more Halloween spirit, so make sure you don’t forget to bring the crafts home after your kids create them.
- Linus’ Hay Bale Maze – Run through Linus’ Hay Bale Maze and see if you can find your way out! You won’t want to become a needle lost in a haystack.
- Trick-Or-Treat Street – The younger ones can get a supply of their favorite treats at this street of costumed characters. Opens at Noon
- AND MUCH MORE!
Shows
- Balloon Art Show – Watch as balloons are transformed into a variety of shapes and objects right before your eyes! If you ask nicely, maybe the balloon maker will take requests.
- Charlie Brown's Pirate Aventure - Set sails for the high seas with Cap'n Charlie and see if you can find the famed treasure of Beagle Island.
- Franklin’s Spooky Dance Party – Dance along to some of your favorite Halloween tunes.
- Sally’s Costume Contest – Come dressed in your best costume! Kids under 56” tall can parade their way to the stage where Sally will award prizes for the most original, cutest, and scariest costumes.
- The Skeletones – A shocking NEW musical group of skeletons playing all your favorite Halloween hits.
The majority of The Great Pumpkin Fest festivities will take place in Wildwater Kingdom, but don’t forget the rest of the park is also open at this time. You can enjoy the largest collection of kids’ rides at the park in Planet Snoopy. Throughout the day in Planet Snoopy at the Peanuts Showplace, there will be Character Meet & Greets. Meet the PEANUTS™ Gang in their spooky attire as we celebrate the Great Pumpkin! Make sure to check the posted schedule next to the stage for character times, that way you won’t miss out on meeting your or your kid’s favorite character.
