Grand Carnivale offers something for every type of guest – from the well-traveled to young explorers. While adults take in the array of unique experiences from cultures around the world, kids can embark on an expedition that will unlock the mystery and magic of Grand Carnivale.

Grand Carnivale Adventure Club

Geared towards young explorers ages 8 – 13 years old, the Adventure Club is a scavenger hunt like no other. Those willing to accept the challenge will journey around the world and be immersed into cultures like Germany, Italy, India, France, and China. Throughout your world expedition, you’ll encounter clever clues and mind-bending puzzles. Your goal is to collect stamps from each country by discovering hidden treasures and learning about their histories.

If you complete the challenge successfully, you’ll earn membership in “da club” complete will an exclusive members-only badge. Wear your reward around the park and let others know that you took on the Adventure Club Challenge!

How to Get Started

Following the Grand Carnivale opening celebration at 5pm, begin your adventure by picking up an Adventure Club Challenge Guidebook from any country showcased in Grand Carnivale. Simply find an Ambassador or international character and say “hello” in the country’s main language. This will tip them off that you are an Adventure Club recruit. Get ahead of the game by learning “hello” in each language:

China – Ni Hao (nee haow)

France – Bonjour (bawn-zhoor)

Germany – Guten Tag (gooten tak)

India – Namaste (nuhm-uh-stey)

Italy – Ciao (chow)

The Carnivale Ambassador or international character will then lead you to the special challenge for that country. It’s time to head out on your quest!

Once you complete the quest, take your proof to a Carnivale Ambassador or international character. Your Guidebook will be stamped and you’ll be given another clue that will lead you to your next destination where a new set of tasks await.

Share your journey on social media using #DPCarnivale and tag us @dorneyparkpr! Best of luck to all adventurers as they embark on their journeys around the world during Grand Carnivale.
