HAUNT has begun and you’re going to need some survival tips to get through it. These tips will help you plan your next trip here.

Things to Know Before You Get Here

There are very important things to know before coming to the park this fall. It is of course the same park, but we have some new policies in place to keep everyone safe at Halloween Haunt.

  • 7pm – One of the key things to know is, there is no re-entry into the park after 7pm. Make sure you already have everything from your car before then. Especially when the cool fall air comes in, grab those layers before you can’t.
  • 6pm - Another critical time to remember because that is when Planet Snoopy closes on HAUNT nights.
  • Costumes – Leave the spooky costumes, make-up, and Halloween masks at home. The actors should be the only ones in costume at night.
  • No Boo Necklace – If you don’t like to get scared but you still want to experience HAUNT, purchase one of these. The lights on the No Boo Necklace will let our monsters know not to scare you.
  • Bag Policy – There is a new policy in 2022! No bags of any kind larger than 6.5” x 4.5” x 2” may be brought into the park after 7:00 PM on Haunt nights. All bags will be subject to search.
  • If you are asking yourself more questions about the bag policy, check out the FAQs for more help.

Take a look at our website to learn more about the HAUNT Conduct Policy and Guidelines. It is in place to keep you and everyone else safe.

How to survive the haunted houses in Allentown, PA at Dorney Park

Purchase Tickets Online

The easiest and the fastest way to get into the park is to buy your tickets online before you get here. The tickets are always cheaper online than they are at the gate. There is no need to wait in line to purchase tickets if you have already bought them online.

Fright & Fast Lane

If you want to make sure you get into as many HAUNT mazes as possible in one night, purchase the Fright & Fast Lane ticket. This combo ticket allows you to skip the regular line to all HAUNT mazes and the regular lines of the rides. Yes, that’s right it’s like a 2 in 1 deal! Purchase yours today, because there is a limited number of these passes available. Admission into the park is not included and separate from this ticket.

Other Tips

Before you come, buy your tickets online and look at a map so, you know where everything is located. For the beginning of your night, get to the park before the event starts. That way you won’t miss a thing! We suggest getting to the park around 6 PM, so you have time to get in, maybe go on a ride, get a drink, and once 7pm hits head to your most anticipated maze first. Maybe it’s the new one, Roadside Stop & Chop, or maybe it’s an old favorite like, Tourist Trap. Try to limit your walking time by going to other mazes that are close to it. Go through as many scare zones as you can on your way to other mazes. When the lines start getting too long for your liking, watch one of the Halloween shows. It will be a nice break from all the screaming. Remember that a lot of people will get tired and won’t stay until 11 PM – when the park closes. An hour or two before the park closes is when the lines might get shorter, so that means it’s time to get to more mazes! If you are in line for an attraction before it is closed off at 11 PM, then you will still get to go through the maze.

You might not be able to get to every haunted maze, scare zone, and show in one night, which means you may have to come back another night. If you plan on coming two or more nights, you should definitely get a Season Pass, because it pays for itself in 2 visits and you’ll be able to come next year. If you can only make it one night, get a Fright & Fast Lane pass.
