The girls were running the show while I was off. But now Gina is off and so while the girls went shopping, the boys are going to eat. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against shopping! Shopping is a pleasant way to spend a day at Dorney but it’s not my cup of tea…and by tea I mean frozen lemonade! So I have nabbed my good friend Tony Bucha (merchandise manager aficionado) to accompany me on a binge across Dorney Park to help you guys pass the time as your girlfriends, wives, daughters, sisters, nieces, cousins, friends, or whomever shops.

Funnel Cake: A Man's Cake

There is nothing like the smell of funnel cakes to get you in the mood to binge on this classic amusement park treat. Tony and I both agree that this is a snack well worth your time. Located at Sweet Temptations (on the Dorney Midway), it’s a perfect place to relax while the girls shop.

Chickie’s and Pete’s Crab Fries: Be the King of the Sea

Chickie’s and Pete’s Crab fries should need no introduction. These delectable fries will speak volumes for themselves. What better way to treat yourself? Tony and I give this one two thumbs up. Don’t believe us? Go and see for yourself, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Monster Cheese Steak: Somebody Call Joey Chestnut!

This cheese steak will satisfy even the most vivacious eaters. Located at Monster’s Grill (next to Possessed) this cheese steak will knock your socks off (literally Tony and I can’t find our socks)! You won’t ever have to shop for a cheese steak again! Remember, a monster cheese steak a day keeps the hunger away!

Frozen Custard: Can You Handle the Sweetness?

Hey we all have a sweet tooth. Why not indulge that! Located at Frozen Custard off the Midway this is the perfect place to grab a snack and enjoy some custard. Tony and I hands down approve of this rich, sweet custard (especially on a hot day)!

Riptide Nachos: It’s Like Swimming in a River of Cheesy Goodness

Nachos is a pretty standard example of entertainment food. Located at Riptide Refreshments (in Wildwater Kingdom) this snack will satisfy your hunger. Tony and I think it’s important that nachos are done right. There is a science and Dorney definitely delivered with this one!

Philadelphia Pretzel Factory Pretzel: That’s a lot of Dough

Everybody loves a Philly pretzel! Tony and I got to see them being made fresh and let me tell you they are fresh! The pretzels are baked right on location to provide a superior taste, fluffiness, and warmth. So what are you waiting for? Go get one before they vanish!!

No matter what you’re craving, Dorney has got something for you. Whether you like the sweet, the salty, or a more meaty taste there is something here for you. So next time you’re at Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom, I’d definitely recommend allocating some of that Fast Pay money towards the pursuit of food-happiness! If you put money on Fast Pay, you get 10% of that money added on free. So bring an empty stomach because everyone will certainly enjoy these delicious items.

Tried any of these food items? Eat Monster Cheese Steaks as a snack? We’d love to hear about it! Comment below!

Oh my goodness I LOVE Philly pretzels! I've eaten them since my mom introduced me to them as a little kid! The frozen custard and funnel cake sound really good too! I'll have to try them during a future visit to Dorney! Way to go AJ and Tony!
