Tenth Annual COASTER QUEST: the Physics & Math of Thrill Rides

Presented by Kutztown University on Friday, May 8, 2009 at Dorney Park.

COASTER QUEST is an educational activity designed for high school and middle school physics and mathematics students.

The Park operating hours are 10 a.m. - 10 p.m., gates open at 9:30 a.m. If you can't attend on May 8, the COASTER QUEST material is structured in a way that you may utilize the program any other day of the season.

• Groups of 20 or more qualify for discounted prices. Please call (610) 395-3724 for more information (tickets must be purchased a minimum of two weeks prior to your visit).
• Catering is available for groups of 40 or more. Please call 1-800-551-5656 and ask for the Meal Coordinator for more information. If catering is not in your budget, we also offer "Beagle Bucks." This program enables groups to purchase, in advance, dollar-equivalent scrip certificates for use within the Park at a variety of food, merchandise, and game locations.
• Dorney Park is always concerned about the safety of all guests. Please inform students who are participating in COASTER QUEST to follow all written and verbal instructions on the rides as well as all Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom rules at all times. Loose items must be secured on all rides while larger items may be left with non-riders. Please do not disturb ride operators at any time. With your cooperation, everyone can have a safe and enjoyable day!
• Efforts to improve and update materials are ongoing. Plans for the future are to expand the COASTER QUEST program to include more math and middle school levels of science. We encourage any input you may have.
