VOODOO IS OPEN!

Official word came just before noon today that we were ready to open VOODOO to our guests for the first time!
The tough wait is over! A few days ago the Intamin team packed their bags, signed the ride off to Dorney Park personnel and left for home. They were here to guide the process of ride calibration and tuning, and to provide training and support to all of the Dorney crews.
This last week has been exciting as ride testing and operator trainings were completed. When Dorney Park crews came in this morning, the water filled test dummies were still occupying the 28 passenger seats. Once the dummies were removed, a few last checks and the daily inspection qualified the ride to be signed over to our Operations Department to host the first guest riders!
My camera's memory card is almost over flowing with images that document the last month. Look forward to those images, the web cam time-lapse, and a video clip blog post soon!
