For Your Safety
First Aid
The safety and well being of our guests is of the greatest importance at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. We have two First Aid stations. Dorney Park Amusement Park First Aid is located next to the Carousel Gift & Souvenir Shop near the Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom entrance and is open until one hour after Park closing. A second First Aid station, located near the Speed Slides in Wildwater Kingdom water park, is open from Wildwater Kingdom water park opening until shortly after Wildwater Kingdom water park closes. Emergency Medical Technicians are available if first aid is needed. If necessary, the Park is only a short drive to local hospitals. The First Aid stations carry a supply of several over-the-counter medications for common illnesses such as headaches and upset stomachs. They can also treat minor cuts, abrasions, etc. Most medicines and medical equipment may be stored in either First Aid station, with the exception of bee sting anaphylaxis kits.
Guests With Disabilities
Our Rider Safety Guide is available at the Guest Services Office at the Park Entrance. The Rider Safety Guide provides detailed information on what is required to safely participate in each attraction for guests with special needs. It also provides information on special services for disabled guests. While at the Guest Services Office, you may also inquire about our Ride Admission Policy for guests with special needs.
You may download the Rider Safety Guide here in Adobe PDF format.
You may bring your own wheelchair or electric wheelchair to the Park. Segway human transporters are not permitted at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. Wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs are available for rent at Stroller Rental located inside the Park Entrance near Carousel Gifts & Souvenir Shop. A rental fee, refundable deposit and photo ID are required. All rental items are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations for rental items are not accepted. Please click here for details on wheelchair rentals.
Height and Safety Requirements
We want all of our guests to have a safe and enjoyable day. Every guest has different capabilities and limitations. Guests of extreme size and those with temporary disabilities (such as casts and braces) may be prohibited from riding some rides for safety reasons. Expectant mothers and guests with heart or back conditions should be cautious in deciding which rides to experience. Many rides have height requirements, which are strictly enforced. If you have any questions, please stop at Guest Services. We will be happy to brief you on our Ride Admission Policy and explain how it applies to your specific situation. We hope we can help you enjoy your day more fully.
For your protection, height and safety requirements will be enforced on applicable rides. These are posted at each ride entrance area. These and other signs at the ride contain safety information you should be aware of before you ride. Additionally, our Rider Safety Guide is available at the Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom entrance and at our Guest Services office. A height-measuring guide is located at the main entrance plaza if you would like to measure any child before purchasing tickets. Most rides cannot accommodate strollers, tape players, cameras, stuffed animals or bulky objects. Please leave them with a non-rider. Ride operators cannot be responsible for these items. For safety reasons, taking pictures, video taping or filming on rides is prohibited. While all amusement attractions have some associated risks, certain individuals are at an increased risk for injury from these attractions. Please carefully evaluate each attraction to determine if you or members of your party can safely participate. If you would like more information about the abilities that our attractions require, please refer to our Rider Safety Guide.
