Appropriate Dress

You must be wearing shoes and shirts to enter Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times while outside of Wildwater Kingdom water park, except while riding Thunder Canyon and White Water Landing. Swimwear must be sufficiently covered while outside of Wildwater Kingdom water park. Clothing with profanity, illegal substances, and other suggestive or offensive material is prohibited.

Proper swimming attire is required in Wildwater Kingdom water park. Proper swimming attire is defined as one or two piece swimming suits without abrasive buttons, rivets, zippers or snaps. Street clothes, shoes and shirts are not permitted on Wildwater Kingdom water park attractions. Thong suits are prohibited. All children in diapers are required to wear water-proof diaper covers in Wildwater Kingdom water park. Swimming suits and water-proof diaper covers are available for purchase at merchandise shops in Wildwater Kingdom water park.

Life Jackets

Life jackets are required at the Wave Pool, Wildwater Cove, Runaway River, Wildwater River, and V.I.P. Pool for anyone who is less than 48" tall in bare feet or is an inexperienced, weak, or non-swimmer.

Life jackets are available free of charge; however, guests are asked to return all jackets to their storage area after use. Life Jackets are property of Dorney Park and are not permitted to be removed from the park.

Life jackets are available at:

  • Near men's restroom at the Wave Pool.
  • Near the entrances to Wildwater Cove, Runaway River, and Wildwater River.

Personal life jackets that carry the Coast Guard emblem may be brought into Wildwater Kingdom.  Water wings, "swimmies" and any other personal flotation devices that do not carry the Coast Guard emblem are not permitted. Wave-riding boards are not permitted under any circumstance.

Pennsylvania Act No. 1994-58 Amusement Rider Safety and Liability Act requires that riders must obey all warnings and directions regarding any ride and must behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury to themselves or others. Failure to comply is cause for dismissal from the Park.

First Aid

There are two First Aid stations at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. Dorney Park Amusement Park First Aid is located next to the Good Time Gifts near the Park Entrance and Wildwater Kingdom Water Park First Aid is located near the Speed Slides. Both locations are open until shortly after their respective sections of the park are closed and clear of guests.

Emergency Medical Technicians are available if needed. If necessary, the Park is only a short drive to local hospitals. The First Aid stations carry a supply of several over-the-counter medications for common illnesses such as headaches and upset stomachs. They can also treat minor cuts, abrasions, etc. Most medicines and medical equipment may be stored in either First Aid station, with the exception of bee sting anaphylaxis kits.

Mothers who prefer a private area for nursing may do so at the Dorney Park Amusement Park First Aid station near the Park Entrance.

Food and Beverages

Food or picnic lunches, coolers, and beverages may not be brought into Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. Picnic areas within the Park are exclusively for groups which participate in Dorney Park’s catered outing program. Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom is not responsible for any items left unattended in the picnic area.

Inclement Weather

Most of our attractions and rides remain in operation despite some rain. We will re-open any closed rides as soon as possible. No rain checks or refunds are available. Wildwater Kingdom water park will close all water activities and Dorney Park amusement park will close certain activities when lightning or thunder is in the vicinity. This is for your protection and all activities will re-open as soon as possible.

Meeting Place

It is recommended that a meeting time and place be arranged for your group members to meet should you become separated. If you become separated from your group, you may leave a message at the Message Center.

Parking

When you park your car, please note the location. A parking area for guests with disabilities is located near the Main Entrance. Should you require this parking, please turn on your four-way flashers and ask a traffic director to direct you to the exact location.

Pets / Service Animals

Pets are not permitted in Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. Only guide dogs and service animals are permitted in the Park. We cannot safely accommodate guide dogs / service animals on certain rides and attractions. Guide dogs / service animals and their owners can be safely accommodated on the following rides and attractions:

  • Antique Carousel
  • Camp Snoopy Theater
  • Camp Snoopy – Wagon Wheel
  • Cedar Creek Cannonball
  • Center Stage
  • Chance Carousel
  • Ferris Wheel
  • Swan Boats (Guests must have sufficient visual acuity to operate the ride unit.)
  • Wildwater Kingdom  - Kid’s Cove – (Animals may not go on the attractions.)
  • Kiddie Merry-Go-Round (Tot Spot)
  • Wildwater Kingdom - Lollipop Lagoon (Animals may not go on the attractions.)
  • Wildwater Kingdom - Splash Landing (Animals may not go on the attractions.)
  • Zephyr

Tobacco Policy

At Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, we strive to accommodate all of our guests.  Smoking is not permitted in Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, except at the several designated smoking areas. Cigarettes and other tobacco products are not sold at the Park.
