Midway Games

Test your talents on dozens of inviting midway games. There are four major strips with multiple challenges gathered in one area (one near Talon roller coaster entrance, two near the Dominator thrill ride, and one near Laser roller coaster), plus individual skill sites scattered throughout the Park.

New for 2008!  Whether you are a professional football player or simply a fan, check out Dorney Park's newest midway game, Quarterback Challenge, and see if you can hit targets and win big!

Think you've got what it takes to make several shots from the 3-point line?  Are you up to the challenge?  3-Point Challenge! 

There is always a winner when you compete with your friends on one of our water pistol race games. Firefly is a state-of-the-art water race game that dares guests to shoot water at moving targets as they attempt to be the first to fill their colorful tube to the top. Wacky Water is another moving target water race game where water travels up spiral tubes covered in flashing lights during a captivating clamor. Guests race a Corvette to the finish line at Drag Race, a 50's themed water race game.

Of course, there are traditional classics that have been favorites for decades. Guessing Games provide the opportunity to "fool the guesser" as they attempt to estimate age, weight or birthday. Players attempt to throw softballs into Bushel Baskets, score a basketball in the hoop at Hoop Shot, cast a ring on a bottleneck at Ring Toss, and whirl wiffle balls onto colored holes at Crazyball.

Other midway games include Hi-Striker, Bank-A-Ball, Wacky Wire, Balloon Darts, Gunball, Top Spin, Dawg Derby, Rising Waters, Whack-A-Mole, Turbo Boats and more.

Midway games are fun for everyone, especially when you win! Prizes at midway games vary depending on the level of skill required. Very popular prizes are Spongebob Squarepants, Scooby Doo and Care Bears.  BMX Bikes and Video Game Systems (PSP, XBOX 360, AND Rock Band) are just as popular and offer some of the most coveted prizes at the Park. Other leading plush prizes are favorite cartoon figures, Pokemon, The Simpsons and Family Guy (Brian and Stewie), plus a variety of bears, monkeys, dogs and more.

There is an extra charge for midway games.

Arcades

There are two arcades in Dorney Park amusement park and Wildwater Kingdom water park packed with the latest video games, interactive amusements and classic games. Gather tickets at certain games and cash in your winnings on a sensational selection of prizes.

Fun Zone Arcade is located on the main midway near the entrance to Talon roller coaster. Wildwater Kingdom water park Arcade is located in the waterpark near the locker rental facility.

Experience Dance Dance Revolution, where Up, Down, Left, and Right arrows make their way up a video screen, and you must step on a corresponding footpad in beat to the music. Hit the arrows in the right sequence and onlookers will cheer you on! Super Nova is a similar dancing game for guests to enjoy.

Fulfill your need for speed with a wide variety of arcade race games, including Fast and the Furious, Cruisin' Exotica and Sega Super GT. Participants have the feeling of being in the game while playing Mocap Boxing, an interactive game operated by sensors and Deal or No Deal, themed after the popular TV game show, gives players the chance to win a lot of tickets if they play their cases right!

Small wooden balls are skillfully rolled down a mini-alley to score points at Skeeball. Iceball is another game similar to Skeeball. Rollercoaster Tycoon Pinball and Tommy Pinball provide the familiar fun that only a pinball machine can.

Individual games are also located outside the actual arcade buildings in various locations throughout Dorney Park amusement park and Wildwater Kingdom water park. There is an extra charge for arcade games.
